Valentine's Day has always been highly overrated in my opinion. That is until I realized my expectations for the day might have been a bit unrealistic. Bouquets of flowers, candlelit dinners and notes brimming with romantic words were not appearing at my door, kitchen table or pillow.

Thank goodness I have come to my senses....

Romance is a state of mind....one I enjoy all the time...not just one day a year.

Happy Birthday, man of my dreams

Today is my husbands birthday. I sang to him first thing....even before I got out of bed. He laughed,
as he usually does....I asked him if my voice was earnest and wistful?? Sure, says he.

I chose to marry him way before he asked. He is my kind of handsome...strong, kind and dependable.

Hello y'all !! Yah...I really never say that but most people think that when you live in Tennessee that phrase is second nature . I'm a California born,Utah,Colorado,Idaho transplant....whew.... this girl has gotten around.
I am a designer and have been in the industry for about 15 years. My other job involves ghost designing for assorted production companies which in turn are featured on networks like DIY or HGTV. My work for them (130+) episodes are not owned by me....and because of this I have been neglectful of portfolio building. I am a shy designer....love the work, hate the scrutiny of contemporaries.

Hence the reason for this blog.....Forgive the juvenile approach, the lack of sophistication....I will learn...
